It was 2016 when Pastor Mayor was invited by the Cahigas Family to the Netherlands. And during his stay, he was invited by Bro.Elmer Baguio of Malmo Bethel Missionary Baptist Mission ( that time) , a mission.of CBMBM Copenhagen Betherl Misisonary Baptist in Denmark church to be their speaker He was introduced to Pastor Gerry Calba , the Pastor of CBMBC. The Lord made this situation a way for the Cahigas family to connect to the church. In 2018, Pastor Gerry invited the Cahigas family to the family camp and they felt the love of Christ with the brethren there. A very warm welcomes was given to them by CBMBC. It'a like a family!. After the camp, they retuned to Denmark several times ..one summer and another in October when Bro.Charles was baptised and the Cahigas family transferred their church membership to CBMBC. That baptism day, the Cahigas family was also sent and prayed by the CBMBC to minister in the Netherlands.
In June 8, 2018, Cahigas family met Sis.Rhose, Bro. Bas and Bro. Jeff , Bro.Bong and Sis Vivian as they invited them to their wedding anniversary..From that time, the fellowship was started. Praise the Lord. With the heart and dedication of these brethren,an online devotion and a quartely meeting was held.. And then ,fellowship and gathering becomes monthly in different houses. During the pandemic, the regular Sunday online service was held.
In May 2023, Pastor Erick was given by CBMBC the license to preach during the family camp. The misison church was named as Netherlands Bethel Missionary Baptist Mission. In 2023, we were blessed to have a twice a month gathering, a church in Zevenbergen and and the restaurant in Cuijk ( Julian's Eethuis) were opened for Sunday Worship Service. We are thankful to the Lord For this that we have the regular Sunday Worship Service. In November 2023, 2 brethren were baptised by Pastor Gerry Calba, Sis.Eden and Bro.Jaylym. Glory to God!
The Lord works amazingly. The ministry grows with Bible studies in different ares, Rotterdam, Zevenbergen, , Horst, Reuver, Wijchen and Nijmegen. In year 2024, We were also blessed that the new restaurant owner in Cuijk, Lyn and Bart, continued to allow us to use the place every month for the worship service.
In Nov 2024, Bro.Erick was ordained in Denmark to be a Pastor. And in 19 April 2025 , 6 brethren were baptized. Bro. Cedric, Sis. Norabel, Sis. Jimilyn, Sis. Rhona, Sis. Virghie, Sis. Bernadette. This was the first scriptural baptism officiated by Pastor Erick Cahigas. Glory to God.
In March 2025, another blessing God has poured to NBMBM. They were able to find a place of worship where they held the regular services. We are thankful to Sis Rowena Klegweght for assiting to find the place. And now we are here in this place to celebrate our 2nd year anniversary. Glory to God. The Lord is good all the time.
